If you’re worried about yourself or your child, you’re not overreacting — and you don’t have to handle it alone. When stress, burnout, or overwhelm start to affect daily life, it helps to have support that’s steady, practical, and grounded. 

At Lodestar Counselling & EAL, we work with children, teens, adults, and parents dealing with ADHD, autism, anxiety, caregiver burnout, and parenting challenges. Sometimes that means direct counselling. Sometimes it means parent coaching. Often, it’s a mix of different approaches that address your individual needs.

We take a whole-person approach without making it overwhelming. We address sleep, movement, nutrition, emotional regulation, and relationships — the everyday factors that affect wellbeing. When these foundations are supported, focus often improves, emotions become more manageable, and daily routines feel less challenging.

Sessions may include EMDR, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), animal-assisted therapy, or equine-assisted learning. We choose with you what makes sense for you or your child, with the goal of real, sustainable change.
