Lesson Offerings

Length: 30 minutes 
Cost: $200.00 

This package offers four lessons monthly. Lessons typically include 15 minutes of assisted pre-lesson preparation (tacking up) and 30 minutes of riding, so riders should arrive 15 minutes before their lesson starts. Lessons may occasionally entail in-barn, unmounted lessons at the coach’s discretion.

Payment Procedure

Payment is due in full before the first lesson of the month to secure your booking. 

Payment methods include: 

• Credit card: To pay by credit card, please add your credit card details to your Jane App profile. 

• E-transfer: To pay by e-transfer, please send the amount due to nixdodd@gmail.com and note the student’s first and last name. 

• Lessons will be discontinued if payment is not received. 

Cancellation Policy

Lessons are non-refundable and non-transferable. Make-up lessons are offered during the last week of the month. Please note that make-up lesson slots may be at a time of the week different from your regular lesson. Please let us know if you cannot make a lesson as soon as possible. 

We reserve the right to postpone/reschedule: 

• If no coach is available (we have substitute coaches and will first try to find a substitute) 

• In the event of extreme weather or an emergency that may pose a risk to a human or horse 

Attire

For the safety of our students, we require all students to wear appropriate attire. All riders must wear shoes with a heel, long pants, and correctly fitted horse riding helmets when riding. Children are required to wear helmets when handling or near the horses. Additionally, everyone who is on-site is required to wear closed-toe shoes.
