Equine-Assisted Therapy and Learning
Equine-Assisted Therapy (EAT) combines traditional talk therapy with the equine-based activities to promote physical, emotional, and psychological healing or growth. Horses serve as mirrors to our emotions and as a therapeutic presence.
During your 50-minute sessions, you will begin by discussing, in an office setting, the challenges you are facing. You will then work with the horses in guided equine-centred activities like grooming, leading, and riding aimed at addressing and processing the challenges you have been discussing together.
EAT is commonly used as part of treatment for: anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, relationship challenges, and more.
Price: $125 (50 minutes)

During your 50-minute sessions, you will work through activities like leading a horse to develop leadership and communication, grooming to build trust and learn about patience and care, navigating through obstacles courses to enhance problem-solving and teamwork, and interacting to develop an understanding of body language and trust.
EAL is commonly used for the development of leadership skills, communication and teamwork, self-awareness, emotional regulation, problem solving, and more.
